What to Bring:

 

  • Camera

  • Soft soled shoes- NO WORK BOOTS

  • Empty cooler for fish

  • Drinks and snacks

  • Warm clothes (It is often much cooler on the lake than on land)

  • Rain gear (We will fish in rain)

Do we clean the fish?

 

Yes! We will clean and bag your fish for no extra charge. 

What payment methods are accepted?

 

We accept all major cards as well as cash and check. 

Is there a possibility of sea sickness?

 

Yes, we recommend taking sea sickness prevention pills a half hour to a hour before departure. There are also sea sickness patches that can be prescribed by a doctor.

Will I need a fishing license?

 

Yes! A fishing license is required by the State of Michigan. Fishing licenses can be purchased at local stores such as Mac Baits, Walmart, Meijer or Dunhams. Fishing licenses may also be purchased online at the MDNR elicense website (Link Below).

Is alcohol permitted?

 

Alcohol is permitted aboard our vessel but we ask that it is consumed in a responsible manner and preferably in an unbreakable container. If the captain feels that a member of the party is becoming disorderly, he/she will be asked to control themselves before the trip is called off. If the trip is called off, the trip will be paid in full and we will return to the dock immediately. 

What is a customary tip?

 

Customary tip is typically 20% of the trip value, but this is based solely on your experience.
